Dr. Luther is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon at Wake Orthopaedics. His clinical expertise spans nerve injuries and reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, fractures of the hand and upper extremity, minimally invasive procedures, ligament and tendon disorders, arthritis, athletic injuries, and pediatric hand conditions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Luther has contributed extensively to research and education, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and lectures delivered nationally and internationally. He has received multiple awards for both research and teaching and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). He currently serves on national committees dedicated to medical education and value-based healthcare and is involved in orthopedic product development and innovation. By combining clinical expertise with a commitment to research and teaching, Dr. Luther delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care.
