About Dr. Mardam-Bey

Dr. Sami Mardam-Bey is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in both open and arthroscopic hip preservation techniques, including periacetabular osteotomy and surgical hip dislocation. He treats a wide range of conditions affecting the spine and hip, including scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, hip dysplasia, labral tears, hip impingement, Perthes disease, and slipped capital femoral epiphysis, using both operative and nonoperative approaches.

A former competitive swimmer from childhood through college, Dr. Mardam-Bey has a special interest in caring for young athletes. His personal experience in sports gives him insight into the unique challenges of treating injuries in growing children and adolescents, helping them return safely to the activities they love.
